The Sr Interventional Radiology Tech performs advanced radiographic procedures, primarily in angiology, with minimal supervision, ensuring patient safety and care excellence. They orient, train, and provide technical and administrative guidance to team members, supporting departmental operations in line with the core value of Caring Bravely.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiographic procedures independently, emphasizing safety and precision
- Train, orient, and guide assigned personnel
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies and patient care standards
- Maintain technical proficiency and stay updated on best practices
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in a specialized field
- Advanced certification in Interventional Radiology
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Maryland Certified Medical Radiation Tech license
- AR RT certification
- American Heart Association CPR certification
- ACLS certification within one year of hire
