Pay Rate

$59.00 - $62.00 per hour

• Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians required
• AHA BLS and ACLS CPR certification required
• EPIC experience
• At least two years experience in Radiologic/Interventional procedures required; three years preferred

About the Role

The Interventional Radiology Technologist assists physicians in performing complex invasive radiologic procedures for critically ill and injured patients. This role requires strong technical expertise, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment and imaging systems
• Operates all ancillary equipment as outlined in the developmental resume tool
• Participates in emergency events, effectively and efficiently operating all emergency equipment such as defibrillator
• Delivers minimal dose levels to the patient while still achieving diagnostic images
• Anticipates panning requirements, prior to physician’s requests
• Collimates/filters in appropriate situations
• Ensures all staff in procedure room is properly protected and are educated in ionizing radiation standards
