Interventional Radiology Technologist

About the role

This position involves providing advanced Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures in a healthcare setting, supporting both Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology. The role includes working in both inpatient and outpatient environments with flexibility to rotate shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties (with +50% pay for on-call hours).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competency in advanced IR procedures.
• Lead or coordinate IR procedures.
• Actively participate in quality assurance, safety meetings, and performance improvement projects.
• Instruct others on advanced IR procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of IR experience.
• Experience in a healthcare environment.
• Graduation from an AMA-accredited radiology program.

Qualifications

• Required licenses/certifications: ARRT & CRT, BLS.
• VIR certification (must be obtained within 1 year of hire).
• Preferred qualifications: Recent acute care experience and VIR certification.

Schedule
