Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with cardiac, neuro, body, and vascular-interventional procedures independently.
- Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure in compliance with laws and policies.
- Operate imaging equipment, evaluate image quality, and ensure proper data storage and transfer.
- Maintain sterile technique and intra-arterial access, monitor patient physiology, and participate in physiological monitoring.
- Operate and ensure quality control of hemodynamic and monitoring devices; initiate ACLS protocols as needed.
- Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; participate in quality improvement activities.
- Record and assess hemodynamic and electrogram data during procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certifications from the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, or ARRT-CV); advanced certifications preferred.
- Graduate of a radiologic technology training program.
- Certifications in advanced cardiac procedures and ACLS; PALS certification desirable.
- Proficiency in imaging protocols, patient safety, sterile techniques, and physiological monitoring.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.
