Interventional Radiology Technician - IR Tech

About the role

International Radiology Technician needed for a 13-week, Day shift contract at 550 University Blvd, Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures by preparing and maintaining imaging equipment.
• Position patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to capture real-time images.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Prepare contrast media and assist with patient monitoring during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Document procedures and update patient records accurately.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements

• Active Rad Tech license within the state of Indiana.
• 2 years of recent and related experience, as required by facility.
• 1 year of Level I trauma experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Active BLS certification, physical exam, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility.
