About the role

The Interventional Radiology Technician will assist in various interventional procedures, prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure accurate diagnostic images are obtained. They will work under the supervision of the supervising physician and department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized procedure room
• Follow facility protocols
• Assist in patient positioning

Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• IR certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Clear and effective communication with patients and clinical team members
• Quick critical-thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist in patient positioning
