About the role
Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Tech Aide to join their high-performing IR team at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Support patient positioning and comfort measures while maintaining patient dignity and privacy.
- Prepare procedure rooms by stocking supplies, setting up equipment, and ensuring rooms are ready for scheduled cases.
- Assist with room turnover between procedures to maintain workflow efficiency and support patient throughput.
- Clean and disinfect equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas in accordance with infection prevention and departmental standards.
- Maintain inventory levels of procedural supplies and equipment.
- Restock procedure rooms, supply carts, and storage areas to ensure availability of required materials.
- Receive, organize, and rotate stock while removing expired supplies as appropriate.
- Perform supply ordering and inventory tracking utilizing department inventory management systems.
- Transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and other materials throughout the department as needed.
- Perform clerical and workflow-related tasks to support department operations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other team members to promote a safe and organized patient care environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CPR certification required.
