Job Summary Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a dedicated and assiduous Interventional Radiologist APP to join our expanding, patient centered radiology team. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Provides age appropriate, culturally sensitive care. o stays current with medical advancements, new technology, new drugs through continuing education classes, society meetings, professional journals, etc.Prescribes medications per state laws. Prescribes non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient's diagnoses, health history, and age.Follows the five medication rights and reduces the potential for medication errors. Treats patients and families with dignity and respect.Attends all departmentar, organizational and medicar staff committee meetings, and medical imaging activities as appropriate.Maintains appropriate privileges. Education/Experience Requirements REQUIRED: Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas. Familiar with EHR/EMR software. Licensure/Certification Requirements REQUIRED: Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
