Interventional Radiologist

About the Role

Join a clinic-based interventional radiology practice serving Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. This opportunity focuses on complex interventions and outpatient care in a rural region offering a high quality of life, outdoor recreation, and community amenities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of interventional procedures, including:
  • Oncology interventions
  • GI and biliary procedures
  • Genitourinary interventions
  • Vascular procedures
  • Trauma embolizations
  • Biopsies and drainages
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers (APPs), physicians, and hospital teams to deliver high-quality care and support service line expansion.
• Contribute to clinical innovation and practice growth.
• Participate in IR call rotation limited to one hospital, shared among physicians.
• Opportunity to train in stroke thrombectomy with additional compensation.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Eligible for medical licenses in Tennessee and Virginia.
• Proficient in a broad range of IR procedures.
• Interest in learning stroke techniques.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
