Interventional Radiologist

About the role

We are seeking a Pediatric Interventional Radiologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and IR Fellowship training, including Pediatric Level I Trauma experience. The role involves performing procedures such as liver and kidney biopsies, abscess drains, LPs, GT/GJ exchanges, and nephrostomy tubes, with an annual volume of 500-600 studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for weekend call, day shifts, and weeknight call.
• Obtain temporary privileges to perform procedures.
• Manage high-volume case workload with procedural expertise.
• Maintain certifications including ACLS and PALS.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to resident education and teaching.

Requirements

• MD or DO with BC/BE in Interventional Radiology.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric interventional radiology.
• IR Fellowship training, including Pediatric Level I Trauma experience.
• Experience with pediatric procedures and trauma cases.
• Comfortable with resident teaching.
