Baylor Scott & White Health in the greater Austin, TX region is seeking a BE/BC interventional radiologist to join a well-established team and help develop and expand interventional radiology services.

About the role

The candidate will join a growing division of diagnostic and interventional radiologists, currently supporting four hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging facilities in the Austin metro area. Current interventional radiology work includes the full spectrum of procedures, such as interventional oncology, endovascular (venous and arterial) procedures, uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), and prostatic artery embolization (PAE). The preferred candidate will also help grow additional service lines.

On-site coverage is provided to multiple hospitals throughout the region, and outpatient IR clinic services are available at all covered facilities. The service is supported by two advanced practice providers (APPs). Some interpretation of vascular diagnostic imaging will be required.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board certified or board eligible in interventional radiology by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
