Job Description

  • Supports the Organization’s mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy.
  • Adheres to the Organization’s Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Assists physicians in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
  • Operates and quality controls radiological equipment in accordance with the Organization’s policies, procedures, and training.
  • Assists with inventory and supply management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; and Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations).
  • Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
  • 4 - 6 years' related experience desirable.
  • 1 year experience preferred for Candidates with ARRT.
  • Working knowledge of interventional equipment (including C-Arm and Ultrasound equipment).
  • Experience with interventional procedures, using/ordering/maintaining required materials/supplies for each procedure.
  • Knowledge and experience of sterile techniques.
  • Knowledge of universal precautions and personal protective devices to be utilized when operating radiology systems.
  • Successfully complete BLS certification.
  • Experience with monitoring and maintaining inventory.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and related software such as Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
