Interventional Radiologic Technologist / Electrophysiology

About the role

Provides support during electrophysiology (EP) procedures, assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and data management.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates EP lab operations, assists physicians with instrumentation, pacing, and recording activities.
  • Performs device interrogations.
  • Acts as a patient liaison and educates patients about procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Rotates through shift roles and mentors staff.
  • Participates in professional development.
  • Maintains a safe environment and supports all aspects of EP procedures and patient care.

Requirements

  • Licensure as a Radiology Technician and ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential.
  • Certification in AED from AHA or Red Cross.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Cardiology program.
  • At least two years of relevant experience.

Skills

  • Advanced ECG interpretation (preferred).
  • Experience with EP mapping systems (preferred).
