About the role
Provides support during electrophysiology (EP) procedures, assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and data management.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates EP lab operations, assists physicians with instrumentation, pacing, and recording activities.
- Performs device interrogations.
- Acts as a patient liaison and educates patients about procedures.
- Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Rotates through shift roles and mentors staff.
- Participates in professional development.
- Maintains a safe environment and supports all aspects of EP procedures and patient care.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Radiology Technician and ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential.
- Certification in AED from AHA or Red Cross.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Cardiology program.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Advanced ECG interpretation (preferred).
- Experience with EP mapping systems (preferred).
