Interventional Radiologic Technologist (AART) / Cardiac Laboratory

About the role

The Interventional Radiology Technologist supports the Cath Lab team by assisting with complex cardiac procedures, including structural heart interventions. On-call availability is required. Candidates should demonstrate teamwork, safety awareness, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment
• Assist during procedures
• Monitor patient vitals
• Interpret test results
• Ensure safety standards
• Work in circulating, monitoring, and scrub roles
• Develop expertise in cardiac anatomy, physiology, and a variety of medical devices and supplies
• Participate in meetings
• Maintain certifications
• Follow safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control

Qualifications

• Certified as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• BLS/ACLS certified
• Preferred experience: 2+ years in radiology, cath lab, or interventional radiology

Skills

• Knowledge of ECG rhythms and ischemia/infarction patterns
• Background in sterile procedures
• Background in structural heart work (advantageous)
