Interventional Radiographer

About the Role

We are seeking an Interventional Radiographer to perform radiological diagnostic procedures as outlined by the Radiologist. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team that makes up Medical Imaging, you will have a significant impact on the improvement of human life.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist the physician in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and setting exposure factors.
• Assess patients for factors that may indicate or contraindicate procedures, such as medications, insufficient preparation, or artifacts.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Ensure a positive patient encounter by maintaining accurate records, scheduling patients, overseeing transportation, ordering supplies, and sustaining a healthy work environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) and State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or Certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience or 3 years of Radiology experience with OR or fluoroscopy.
• Neuro experience is a plus.

Schedule

Full-time weekdays (M-F), 8-hour shifts each day with rotating on-call including weekends. Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of being called.
