About the role

The Interventional Radiological Technologist performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

Responsibilities

• Performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury.
• Provides patient education.
• Performs quality assessment activities for the division.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License.
• Advanced Certification in Angiography, Interventional or Vascular preferred.
• 0 years of relevant experience required. Previous experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures.
• Ability to provide patient education.
• Knowledge of quality assessment practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in radiographic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
