Interventional Pain Management Physician - Spring Lake, NC
About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Interventional Pain Management Physicians to join our growing team. Our practice focuses on providing personalized, accessible care that improves the quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and explain imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, etc.) and test results to identify patient conditions, recommend appropriate treatments, and provide a plan of care.
- Demonstrate familiarity and/or proficiency in the following procedures/injections:
- MEDIAL BRANCH BLOCKS
- FACET JOINT INJECTIONS
- SACROILIAC JOINT INJECTIONS
- EPIDRURAL STEROID INJECTIONS
- NERVE BLOCKS
- DISCOGRAPHY
- PERIPHERAL NERVE STIMULATION
- SPINAL CORD STIMULATION
- VERTEBROPLASTY/KYPHOPLASTY
- PROLOTHERY
- DISC REGENERATIVE THERAPY
- PERIPHERAL JOINT INJECTIONS
- TRIGGER POINT INJECTIONS
Requirements
Qualified candidates must be ACGME accredited and have completed a fellowship in pain management. We prefer physicians who are boarded in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or Anesthesiology; however, we also may consider board certification in Neurology (depending on additional/previous pain management practice experience).
Qualifications
Must have a medical degree and be licensed to practice medicine in the state(s) where you will be working.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in the above-listed procedures and a collaborative attitude are required.
