Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient function and quality of life
- Perform pain management procedures and injections in procedural suites
- Order and interpret imaging, X-rays, labs, and diagnostic studies
- Congduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
- Prescribe medications and rehabilitative services as appropriate
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and pain management options
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers including physicians, psychologists, nurses, and physical therapists
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with all regulations
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and professional development
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from accredited institution
- Board Certified/Eligible in Pain Management, PM&R, Anesthesiology, Neurology, or related specialty
- Active medical license in Georgia (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration required
- Strong procedural and clinical skills
