Interventional Nurse

About the Role

This position involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating care across disciplines. The nurse will serve as a primary liaison, ensuring timely communication of patient status and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Additionally, they will assist with discharge planning to support seamless patient transitions.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions
• Coordinating multidisciplinary care efforts
• Carrying out physician and nursing directives
• Assessing discharge needs and collaborating with healthcare team members

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or valid multi-state license
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Preferred: Advanced Life Support certification
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure

Additional Preferences

• Experience in Critical Care Nursing with assessment skills and quick decision-making, particularly in Interventional Radiology settings
