About the Role
This position involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating care across disciplines. The nurse will serve as a primary liaison, ensuring timely communication of patient status and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Additionally, they will assist with discharge planning to support seamless patient transitions.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions
- Coordinating multidisciplinary care efforts
- Carrying out physician and nursing directives
- Assessing discharge needs and collaborating with healthcare team members
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or valid multi-state license
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Preferred: Advanced Life Support certification
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure
Additional Preferences
- Experience in Critical Care Nursing with assessment skills and quick decision-making, particularly in Interventional Radiology settings
