Interventional Neurologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

We are seeking a Board-Certified MD to provide inpatient neuroendovascular coverage. The role involves managing inpatient neuroendovascular services, evaluating and treating new admissions, and delivering procedural support. You will independently respond to 24/7 ED stroke alerts, assess acute stroke patients, and provide comprehensive neuroendovascular care for adults.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient neuroendovascular services
• Evaluate and treat new admissions
• Provide procedural support for neuroendovascular cases
• Respond to 24/7 ED stroke alerts and assess acute stroke patients
• Cover approximately one week per month on a 7-day-on, 7-day-off schedule
• Provide 24/7 neuroendovascular call coverage with variable case load
• Handle emergency response and consultation for neurovascular cases

Requirements

• Board certification in relevant specialty
• Ability to handle emergency neurovascular cases independently

Schedule

7-day-on, 7-day-off schedule with approximately one week of coverage per month, including 24/7 neuroendovascular call coverage.
