Interventional Neurologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This inpatient neurointerventionalist position involves managing neuroendovascular services, evaluating and treating stroke and neurovascular patients, and providing procedural support. The clinician must independently handle 24/7 neuroendovascular call duties, respond to emergency stroke alerts, and deliver comprehensive care for adult patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient neuroendovascular cases and services
• Respond to stroke alerts and emergency department activations
• Assess and treat acute stroke patients
• Provide consultation and procedural support as needed
• Work approximately one week per month on a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule

Qualifications & Skills

• Board Certification in relevant specialty
• Ability to perform neuroendovascular procedures independently
• Experience with emergency stroke response and inpatient management
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

Approximately one week per month on a 7-day on, 7-day off rotation.
