About the role
This inpatient neurointerventionalist position involves managing neuroendovascular services, evaluating and treating stroke and neurovascular patients, and providing procedural support. The clinician must independently handle 24/7 neuroendovascular call duties, respond to emergency stroke alerts, and deliver comprehensive care for adult patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage inpatient neuroendovascular cases and services
- Respond to stroke alerts and emergency department activations
- Assess and treat acute stroke patients
- Provide consultation and procedural support as needed
- Work approximately one week per month on a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule
Qualifications & Skills
- Board Certification in relevant specialty
- Ability to perform neuroendovascular procedures independently
- Experience with emergency stroke response and inpatient management
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
