What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will manage both inpatient and outpatient interventional/invasive cardiology patients, subspecializing in a broad range of interventional/invasive cardiology care. They will manage medication management, peri-procedural care, post-procedural outpatient follow-up, and long-term outpatient follow-up. Cross-coverage in general cardiology will be involved, with training provided.

• Full-time position with occasional weekend and holiday coverage on a rotational basis among the cardiology APP group.
• Serving at Forsyth Medical Center, NH Cardiology Kimel Park, NH Cardiology Kimel Annex, and NH Cardiology Highland Oaks.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Master's Degree or higher
• A graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
• A current NP or PA license in the appropriate state
• NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC Board Certification and current DEA registry
• BLS and ACLS certification (training available)
• 1-3 years of cardiology experience
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
• Demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills

Additional training will be provided on administering cardiac stress testing.
