Interventional Cardiology
The Role
Deliver top-tier consultative, invasive, and non-invasive outpatient cardiology care alongside acute inpatient interventions.
Core Interventional Focus: Perform complex coronary and peripheral interventions. Advanced experience with both arterial and venous interventions is highly preferred.
Device Implantation: Lead pacemaker and AICD placements (preferred but not required).
Zero Structural Strain: Focus entirely on traditional interventional medicine-no structural heart responsibilities are required.
Clinical Volume Pacing: Manage an established, highly robust referral network.
Office/Clinic Days: Average 25 to 30 patients per day.
Hospital Procedure Days: Average 2 to 4 interventional/diagnostic cases per day.
Weekend Hospital Census: Can reach 35 to 40 patients during peak call rotations.
Submission Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program.
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Interventional Cardiology.
- Licensure: Active Florida Medical License (or currently in the application process).
Skills
Excellent interpersonal communication, strong collaborative team mindset, and an entrepreneurial interest in taking on long-term clinical leadership roles.
