Position Overview
An employed Interventional Cardiologist role supporting a team of 2 Interventional Cardiologists and 3 ARPNs. The position involves providing a range of cardiology services on campus, including general adult cardiology, peripheral vascular disease management, arrhythmia treatment, pacemaker and AICD implantation, and advanced diagnostic procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angiograms, and echocardiography.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive cardiac care
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Manage arrhythmias
- Utilize new advanced imaging systems like the GE Allia IGS and 256-Slice CT Scanner
- Support remote diagnostics through the new Echo PACS system
- Collaborate within a regional network and established program
Qualifications & Skills
- Candidates should possess board certification in cardiology
- Relevant procedural expertise
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Knowledge of advanced imaging and diagnostic techniques is preferred
