Interventional Cardiologist

About the role

This physician will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with a focus on minimally invasive, catheter-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients with coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, peripheral vascular disease, and other complex cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with a focus on minimally invasive, catheter-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Focus on treating patients with coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, peripheral vascular disease, and other complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Work within a high-acuity, academically oriented environment that supports innovation, education, and advanced cardiac care.

Requirements

• Hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Complete an accredited Internal Medicine residency, Cardiovascular Disease fellowship, and Interventional Cardiology fellowship.
• Be board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• Hold, or be eligible to obtain, an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
