Interventional Cardiologist

About the role

This position is available at University of Michigan Health – Sparrow Lansing, Michigan. The hospital is part of the University of Michigan Health Partners, a multispecialty physician group.

Responsibilities

• Monday-Friday schedule
• 8 to 10 weekend rotations annually
• 29 to 35 weekday call rotations annually
• Participation in the U-M Sparrow Hospital and Heart and Vascular's adult outpatient and inpatient patient population
• Assignment of clinics varying with service and diagnostic testing coverage
• Non-invasive diagnostic testing including IAC accredited nuclear, echo, and vascular labs
• Stress testing, holter, event, EECP, and implantable loop recorders

Requirements

• BE/BC interventional cardiologist
• Cardiology Fellowship Program with on-call coverage
• Group of 24 cardiologists, 14 non-IV cardiologists, 5 interventional cardiologists, 5 electrophysiologists, and 15 advanced practice providers
• Large research program and fellowship program
• Services provided to 7 locations and one hospital cath lab
