About the role
Join CHI Health Clinic in Grand Island, Nebraska, as an Interventional Cardiologist. You will be part of an established cardiovascular team dedicated to providing exceptional heart and vascular care throughout central Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology services to patients throughout central Nebraska
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions
- Perform cardiovascular procedures and interventions consistent with your training and specialty focus
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists, including hospitalists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Utilize in-clinic cardiovascular imaging services to support patient evaluation and treatment planning
- Participate in outreach clinics that expand access to cardiovascular care across the region
- Collaborate with an established cardiovascular team consisting of three physicians and four advanced practice providers
- Maintain a balanced practice supported by a strong referral network from primary care and specialty providers
- Utilize EPIC as the integrated electronic medical record in both clinic and hospital settings
- Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered cardiovascular care
Requirements
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Completion of a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program
- Valid Nebraska medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska
- Nebraska DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Preferred: American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program
- Advanced Imaging training
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Completion of a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program
- Valid Nebraska medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska
- Nebraska DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Preferred: Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program
