About the Role
Responsible for performing Angiography procedures, including scrubbing, setting techniques, and capturing images, to support patient care in the imaging department.
Responsibilities
- Provide procedural assistance as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech
- Operate interventional radiology equipment
- Ensure patient safety and proper identification
- Follow radiation safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records
- Prepare patients and obtain necessary consents
- Educate patients and assist with hemostasis post-procedure
Requirements
- Current licensure and certifications (ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS if applicable)
- Understanding of anatomy, sterile techniques, and infection control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills and emergency response capability
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience for higher levels
- Angio/Interventional experience or vascular/interventional radiography certification preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to carry, climb, crawl, lift, stand, walk, and perform manual dexterity tasks
Schedule
Part-time position (30 hours/week), with variable shifts, call, and holiday coverage.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $35.25 to $54.39 hourly, dependent on experience.
