Interventional Angiologist

About the Role

Responsible for performing Angiography procedures, including scrubbing, setting techniques, and capturing images, to support patient care in the imaging department.

Responsibilities

• Provide procedural assistance as a circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech
• Operate interventional radiology equipment
• Ensure patient safety and proper identification
• Follow radiation safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records
• Prepare patients and obtain necessary consents
• Educate patients and assist with hemostasis post-procedure

Requirements

• Current licensure and certifications (ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, PALS if applicable)
• Understanding of anatomy, sterile techniques, and infection control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills and emergency response capability
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience for higher levels
• Angio/Interventional experience or vascular/interventional radiography certification preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to carry, climb, crawl, lift, stand, walk, and perform manual dexterity tasks

Schedule

Part-time position (30 hours/week), with variable shifts, call, and holiday coverage.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $35.25 to $54.39 hourly, dependent on experience.
