About the Role
The Intervention Teacher plans and provides targeted academic intervention lessons for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students. The teacher collaborates with grade-level teams and the principal to identify students who need additional academic support, develops an intervention schedule and cycles based on student needs, and reviews student assessment data at the end of each cycle to evaluate progress and determine which students should continue receiving intervention services. The Intervention Teacher monitors, documents, and tracks student progress throughout the 2026–27 school year and adjusts intervention groups and instructional strategies as needed to support student achievement.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver targeted academic intervention lessons for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students.
