Intervention Specialist

The Ravenna School District has multiple Intervention Specialist (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive) openings for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct intervention services to students with mild to moderate or moderate to intensive needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assess student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Current teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate or moderate to intensive needs.
• Knowledge of educational assessment tools and techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Passing scores on relevant background checks (FBI/BCI Fingerprints).
