Responsibilities

• Create meaningful learning experiences for students with developmental and learning differences
• Design instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
• Support their social and academic growth
• Collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals
• Conduct assessments to track academic, behavioral, and social progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for compliance and evaluation
• Foster a positive classroom culture that supports learning, independence, and respect

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field from an accredited institution
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with families and school teams
• Dedication to inclusive, student-centered instruction and behavioral support

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with developmental and learning differences
• Ability to work collaboratively with families and school teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of educational assessment tools and techniques

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
