Intervention Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor's in related field, or
• Associate's in related field + 2 years' relative work experience, or
• RBT with 4 years' relative work experience.
• 1-3 years minimum experience

Responsibilities

• Create and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans
• Engage in data collection and progress reporting
• Provide classroom behavior modification techniques
• Able to pass and implement safety care training
• Recognize antecedent behavior, utilize de-escalation techniques, apply physical techniques when warranted
• Properly document all interventions
• Verbal processing of events and other therapeutic services as needed
• Follow Clinical guidance from certified clinician
• Co-facilitate group sessions with certified clinician
• Facilitate group sessions independently when certified clinician is not available
