About the role
The Systems Integration & Interoperability Analyst (Army Mission Command Systems) will provide direct support as part of the Capability Program Executive Simulation Training Test and Threat (CPE TS3) Digital Integration Laboratory (DIL) located in Research Park, Orlando, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes interoperability and integration of Army models, simulation, and Common Operating Environments
- Applies knowledge and experience of the product line and communicates interoperability shortfalls to system developers
- Conducts technical research and provides recommendations for future system interoperability based on emerging U.S. Army military standards
- Supports the Simulation to Mission Command Interoperability (SIMCI) Council of Architects regarding interoperability between simulation systems and Mission Command systems, identify gaps between simulation systems and Army tactical systems and recommends solutions to interoperability challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of work-related experience supporting military systems acquisition, integration, interoperability, or test programs
- Experience supporting military operations, training environments, and/or the operational use of systems
- Experience developing recommendations to address challenges related to integration and interoperability in operational or military environments
- Understanding of Army tactical operations and knowledge of military doctrine and command structures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required; Active DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) or modeling & simulation environments
- Familiarity with Army acquisition or procurement processes
- Experience with operational testing or lab/simulation environments
- Experience with Army Mission Command (C2) systems
- Former FA57 Simulation Operations Officer or 57A Simulation Operation Officer
