Internship, Work-Based Learning and CTE Program Coordinator

Location: Union High School – District Wide
Part-time position, 19 hours per week (possibly up to 29 hours).

About the role

Under the direction of the Coordinator, the Work-Based Learning Career Coach works with students, guiding them through creating job search materials and an online job-searching portfolio. The coach helps track work hours for internships, updates grades, and assists with career-exploration events. Additional duties may include facilitating CTE Pathways and other CTE-related tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with career-exploration events
• Facilitate CTE Pathways and other CTE duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Desire and ability to make a difference in students’ lives and create learning opportunities
• Training and skill in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) field
• Initiative and self-motivation to accomplish the mission of Work-Based Learning and the school district
• General knowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Office products, Adobe DC, and Photoshop
