The Internship Recruiting Team is driven by the passion to recognize emerging talent. Our year‑around program places the best students in positions where they grow both technically and personally through close work with their Manager, Mentor, and team. We provide an experience that lets interns live life at Tesla by contributing to projects critical to their team’s success. The People Content team is seeking a Video Production intern to join us in Austin, Texas. This person will design and develop content that brings HR/People campaigns, policies, processes, and programs to life in memorable and meaningful ways. Supporting the business, the intern will need a problem‑solving mindset, a proactive/results‑oriented approach, and a talent for generating creative ideas. Responsibilities

• Research, write, film, direct, edit, storyboard, and produce content that effectively serves business needs and communicates the concept to stakeholders and collaborators
• Be creative, organized with attention to detail, and able to carry multiple projects in parallel
• Have pre‑production and shoot planning experience
• Coordinate interdepartmentally within Tesla to plan video shoots
• Identify and scout locations
• Secure permits
• Maintain clear and consistent communication within the team and among all parties involved
• Create shortlists, shoot schedules, and call sheets
• Be effective with time and budget
• Be capable of tackling a one‑day production, a one‑week production, and beyond, locally as well as out of state in short timeframes

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Video Production or a related field
• Experienced camera operator, video producer, and photographer
• Ability to design and execute effective shots for video
• Passion for Tesla’s mission
• Positive attitude with a bias for taking action and seeking feedback
• Thrives in a collaborative environment that values feedback and building trust
