About the role

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic benefits team.

Responsibilities

  • Coincide with the Total Rewards team on communication topics for upcoming months to establish a communication timeline, content, and audience.
  • Collaborate with the People Content team for communication reviews and approvals before disseminating communications to authorized audiences.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of communication content and styles through tracking click rates and behavioral changes with appropriate vendor relationships.
  • Address employee needs via internal emails with guidance from senior staff.
  • Create a list of vendors for engagement regarding employee discounts, collaborating with Global Supply on legal documentation.
  • Support the transition of Quality Management Control System Owners (QMCSOs), Vendor Oversight Entities (VOEs), and Medicare processes.
  • Prepare for any SharePoint and HR Chatbot updates in anticipation of new policies, procedures, or vendors.
  • Evaluate current practices to identify more efficient methods, innovative solutions, and a hands-on approach to benefits management.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in HR, Benefits, Administration, and Customer Service.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of benefit plan administration and management, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and IRS regulations.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with benefit plan administration and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Pay

This position is expected to start August 2026 and continue through the entire Fall term (through December) or into early Spring 2027 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, for most internships.

Schedule

The Intern position will be responsible for full-time work.
