Summary

Our Research Internship Program offers learning opportunities for undergraduate and post-graduate students interested in research experience and understanding autism spectrum disorder across the lifespan. Interns will engage in activities such as ethical research conduct training, data entry, data collection, observing behavioral interventions, conducting literature reviews, and administrative tasks. Exceptional interns may co-author publications. The program requires at least 10 volunteer hours per week for 9 months.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and at least 18 years of age
  • Current college student, current graduate student, or recent college graduate
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective working with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience with applied settings involving individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disabilities (optional)
  • Pass a 10-year background check
