Internship Program - Charleston, SC - 2026 - 2027

About the role

We are seeking interns for projects located in Charleston, SC. The internship program prepares participants for leadership positions on and off the jobsite, offering travel across the United States and exposure to operational divisions for hands‑on experience in project engineering and field management. Interns are matched to positions aligned with academic and career goals and may work on jobsites or in the office supporting estimating and preconstruction activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule various contracts and materials.
• Maintain document control.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Manage safety on the jobsite.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Write RFIs, submittals, and assist in change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work a 12‑week schedule preferred.
• Specific roles may require relocation.
