Internship - Multi-modal sensor data collection and analysis

About the role

The intern will work on the collection, processing, and analysis of multi-modal sensor data to support ongoing research projects at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL).

Responsibilities

• Work with measurement and control systems such as oscilloscopes, I/O interfaces, and dSPACE platforms.
• Develop and implement data acquisition systems using MATLAB and/or Python.
• Collaborate with MERL researchers to collect and analyze experimental data.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to scientific publications and manuscripts.

Requirements

• Familiarity with measurement and control systems such as oscilloscopes, I/O interfaces, and dSPACE platforms.
• A solid foundation in signal processing.
• Experience with data acquisition, hardware systems, and programming in MATLAB and/or Python.

Qualifications

• Major in Electrical Engineering.
• Undergraduate student status.

Skills

• Programming skills in MATLAB and/or Python.
• Knowledge of data acquisition and hardware systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
