Internship in Marketing (Undergraduate & Master's)

Overview

Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking undergraduate students actively pursuing a degree to join our 2027 summer internship program. This nine-week program will expose interns to the day-to-day activities of the Marketing group in support of Dimensional's brand and messaging.

Job Description

Spend your summer working alongside top marketing professionals within asset management to develop innovative, academically backed ways of improving the investment experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn how the team conveys Dimensional’s brand and offerings in an accurate, compelling, and differentiated manner
• Apply a deep knowledge of Dimensional’s capabilities, an understanding of specific client needs, and an awareness of competitors’ efforts to all initiatives
• Collaborate with many other departments at Dimensional to communicate Dimensional’s unique offering to clients and advance its position in the marketplace
• Work on various marketing materials
• Complete an individual research project based on a current high-priority marketing initiative
• Present findings and recommendations to the department and leadership at the end of the internship

Qualifications and Desirable Experiences

• Pursuing an undergraduate or specialized master’s degree with an expected graduation date of Winter 2027–Spring 2028
• Interest in financial markets
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, highly motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) with the ability to learn programs as needed
