Internship - Marketing

About the role

The YMCA is seeking individuals who are passionate about community development and fitness. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to serving the community and leading programs that inspire and support members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs and classes in accordance with YMCA standards and member needs.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety guidelines and YMCA policies.
• Communicate effectively with members, staff, and volunteers to provide exceptional service.
• Assist with facility maintenance and cleanliness as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and adults in a fitness or recreational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Red Cross Lifeguard certification preferred.

Skills

• Customer service orientation.
• Team player with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

$15 - $20 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
