Internship in Investment/Strategy Research (Undergraduate & Master's)

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on portfolios and prospective strategies
• Execute and analyze simulations for research on asset pricing models and economics studies
• Conduct empirical research related to Dimensional’s investment strategies and a variety of investment topics
• Review relevant academic papers and present findings to internal research teams
• Work with other members of the investment and client services teams to answer internal and client questions

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.2 GPA and pursuing an undergraduate or specialized Master’s degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028
• PREFERRED FIELDS OF STUDY: finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, engineering, or other related quantitative fields
• Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytic skills
• Ability to communicate financial and economic concepts, in both oral and written form
• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages, such as C#, C++, Fortran, R, Python, or Stata
• Experience doing empirical research with large datasets
