Internship – Hospitality (Louisville, KY Summer 2027)

About The Role The Hospitality team is truly the face of Baird. Those who walk in our doors can be assured they will have a professional and unforgettable experience, and that starts with Hospitality. The Hospitality team works together to organize and execute meetings and events in our Conference Center. They are responsible for greeting guests and callers and directing them in a helpful, friendly and professional manner. At Baird, clients come first, and the Hospitality team sets the bar for how they should be treated. This internship requires working full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday in our downtown Louisville, KY office. We are seeking a student who can start in June 2027. The Impact You’ll Make Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients in person and over the phoneAssist with meeting and event planning and execution, ensuring smooth operations and flawless meetings and events and accommodating the needs of the meeting organizer and attendeesComplete projects including managing expenses, email campaigns, ordering materials and supplies and other team projects as assignedGain insight into how Baird operates internally and externally, learn about the businesses and network with associates and clients alike What You’ll Bring To Baird Pursuing a degree in hospitality management, event management, marketing, communications, business or related degreeAnticipated graduation date of December 2027 or laterPassion for hospitality and making others feel welcomed, comfortable and tended to through high-touch, excellent customer serviceStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect clearly and professionally with clients and associatesOrganizational excellence, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality and on-time deliveryHigh level of motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking, with a strong commitment to learning and contributing effectivelyAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office productsHospitality industry experience is strongly preferredPrior experience in an office setting is preferredExperience with graphic design, marketing, content creation and editing for promotional materials, such as Canva, is a plus About Our Intern Program Jumpstart your career with Baird’s high-impact summer intern program!
