INTERNSHIP - Client Position Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Chicago
Responsibilities
- Verification of open interest / position management adjustments on the CME.
- Verification of open interest / position management adjustments on ICE US.
- Verification of CME large trader adjustments.
- Verification of CFTC large trader adjustments.
- Verification of delivery positions.
- Audit assistance for regulatory reporting.
- Document storage.
- Project assistance as requested.
- Addressing discrepancies in expiring or notice period positions.
- Updating and writing procedures and documents workflow.
Change Management
- Participation in local projects to optimize daily tasks.
- Identification of possible improvements and project management.
- Collection and formalization of requirements for implementing improvements.
- Participation in the design, testing, and implementation of solutions.
- Collaboration with clients, account executives, and business managers to manage projects and define business requirements.
- Proactive follow-up on assigned projects/tasks to ensure business needs are carried out as planned.
- User acceptance testing of in-house or third-party applications prior to deployment in production.
- Creation or update of functional support documents.
- Analysis of specific functional processes and procedures, closely managing issues related to process decisions and preferences, and searching for best practices and proposing solutions.
- Participation in the definition, implementation, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators for the Operations Department.
Qualifications
- One year of relevant experience preferred.

Compensation
The base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus, and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans, and commuters.
