INTERNSHIP - Client Position Regulatory Reporting Analyst - Chicago

Responsibilities

• Verification of open interest / position management adjustments on the CME.
• Verification of open interest / position management adjustments on ICE US.
• Verification of CME large trader adjustments.
• Verification of CFTC large trader adjustments.
• Verification of delivery positions.
• Audit assistance for regulatory reporting.
• Document storage.
• Project assistance as requested.
• Addressing discrepancies in expiring or notice period positions.
• Updating and writing procedures and documents workflow.

Change Management

• Participation in local projects to optimize daily tasks.
• Identification of possible improvements and project management.
• Collection and formalization of requirements for implementing improvements.
• Participation in the design, testing, and implementation of solutions.
• Collaboration with clients, account executives, and business managers to manage projects and define business requirements.
• Proactive follow-up on assigned projects/tasks to ensure business needs are carried out as planned.
• User acceptance testing of in-house or third-party applications prior to deployment in production.
• Creation or update of functional support documents.
• Analysis of specific functional processes and procedures, closely managing issues related to process decisions and preferences, and searching for best practices and proposing solutions.
• Participation in the definition, implementation, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators for the Operations Department.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience preferred.

• Must be able to start at 6:00 AM CST.

Compensation

The base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus, and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans, and commuters.
