Purpose of Position

The International Trip Review Specialist, Associate supports the review of international flight reservations from initial inquiry through execution by identifying potential service and operational risks and assisting in the development of mitigation options. This role applies foundational knowledge of international flight operations and collaborates with internal teams to ensure trip requirements are properly validated and aligned with NetJets standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct preliminary and standardized reviews of international flight reservations to identify potential operational or service risks, escalating complex scenarios to senior team members.
  • Support compliance with applicable regulatory agencies, including U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FAA, CDC, and foreign civil aviation authorities.
  • Affiliate in validating trip requirements, including permits, airport restrictions, handling arrangements, and regulatory considerations across international destinations.
  • Cook up with International Trip Planning, Scheduling, Dispatch, and other internal teams to ensure trip details are accurate and properly communicated.
  • Affiliate with logistical arrangements requiring advanced planning, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Affiliate in the preparation of international trip cost estimates using established tools and guidance. Maintain accurate documentation of trip reviews, decisions, and changes within internal systems.
  • Serve as a developing resource for operational knowledge, building familiarity with NetJets products, processes, and international requirements.
  • Participate in continuous learning and development to build subject matter expertise in international trip review and aviation operations.

Education

1-3 years of experience preferred. Prior exposure to international operations or trip planning preferred. Foundational understanding of international flight operations and trip logistics. Basic knowledge of aviation regulations (FAR Parts 91, 91K, 91L, 135 preferred). Familiarity with general aviation operations and aircraft capabilities. Developing knowledge of international airspace requirements and regulatory environments.
