International Tax – Senior / Manager (Builder)

About the role

Lazo Lazo is building a tech-enabled back office for startups operating across the U.S, combining software + human expertise.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for US tax and international tax across the organization
• Lead and mentor a tax senior and junior analyst team (Argentina-based)
• Join client calls (sales + ongoing advisory)
• Own and improve cross-border tax structures
• Identify and implement process improvements & automation
• Collaborate with product/ops to scale delivery

Requirements

• 5–10 years in tax (international / cross-border preferred)
• Experience reviewing work or mentoring juniors and seniors
• CPA license
• Comfortable speaking with clients
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Interest in improving processes (not just executing)

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Spanish (advanced), Exposure to startups / tech clients, Interest in AI / automation
