What work you'll be responsible for
- Review of international tax compliance forms and working with a dedicated international tax team
- Prepare analysis and computations for Subpart F, GILTI, PFIC, PTEP, and FTC, including 962 elections and treaty-based positions
- Collaborate with the Private Client Services and Trust & Estate groups on cross-border matters for individuals and families with global holdings and activities
- Develop tax planning opportunities arising from inbound and outbound cross-border transactions and activities
- Develop models illustrating individuals' cross-border tax attributes, foreign tax credit positions, and overall US tax exposure
- Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and ensure the completion of both tax compliance and advisory projects
- Supervise and train staff
- Share relevant tax thought leadership and draft tax alerts
- Stay current with Tax Reform and comprehend the new regulations and rulings
Basic qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in international tax compliance and/or planning
- CPA, JD, or EA
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Experience reviewing Forms 1040 and 1040-NR that typically include foreign filing attachments and pass-through K-1/K-3 reporting
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
Preferred qualifications
- Experience using OIT, GoSystems and/or CCH Axcess tax software
- Knowledge of individual and/or partnership taxation
- Comprehensive understanding of international tax reporting obligations, including Forms 1040-NR, 1116, 5471, 8865, 8858, 8621, 8938, 8992, 3520, 3520-A, 8854, 8833, and FinCEN Form 114 (FBAR)
- Experience with RIA Checkpoint and BNA

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $210,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
