International Tax and Transaction Services - Capital Markets Senior Manager

About the role

The NTD Capital Markets Tax Practice assists with the provision of tax advisory services with respect to domestic and cross-border financial transactions and structures, including cash management, debt and equity instruments, derivatives, financial products, foreign currency, and hedging activities. Services include transaction planning and implementation, research and analysis of complex tax issues, and writing tax memoranda.

Responsibilities

• Interact with firm professionals from multiple tax disciplines, including international tax, IRS practice and procedure, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, real estate, leasing, accounting methods, and foreign tax to provide timely and high-quality services and work products that meet or exceed client expectations.
• This will make you a trusted advisor and role model for our people across multiple teams, making this a great place to develop a diverse network of collaborative colleagues.
• You will personally coach and develop a highly trained team, all while handling activities with a focus on quality and commercial value.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field) and/or a Juris Doctorate in Law
• A US state CPA license (or similar non-US license that can be transferred) or state bar membership
• The ability to communicate complex tax and industry concepts to clients through exceptional writing and speaking skills
• Confidence in your ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects
• The ability to collaborate with others as part of a high-performing team
• Minimum of 7 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization
• Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated business development skills and experience

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $170,100 to $388,400. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $204,100 to $441,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
