International Tax and Transaction Services - Capital Markets Manager
About the role
The NTD Capital Markets Tax Practice assists with the provision of tax advisory services with respect to domestic and cross-border financial transactions and structures, including cash management, debt and equity instruments, derivatives, financial products, foreign currency, and hedging activities. Services include transaction planning and implementation, research and analysis of complex tax issues, and writing tax memoranda.
Responsibilities
- Interact with firm professionals from multiple tax disciplines, including international tax, IRS practice and procedure, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, real estate, leasing, accounting methods, and foreign tax to provide timely and high-quality services and work products that meet or exceed client expectations.
- This will make you a trusted advisor and role model for our people across multiple teams, making this a great place to develop a diverse network of collaborative colleagues.

Requirements
- Identify and answer complex domestic and international tax issues.
- Provide technical tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects.
- Transactional experience and exposure to foreign currency concepts.
- Build long-lasting relationships with our clients, developing your understanding of their unique needs and requirements.
- Build and lead a dedicated client service team, providing performance feedback and guaranteeing your people always have the skills, tools and opportunities they need to grow.
- Constantly develop your own knowledge, maintaining your status as a trusted advisor by monitoring emerging trends, technologies and practices.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field) and/or a Juris Doctorate in Law.
- A US state CPA license (or similar non-US license that can be transferred) or state bar membership.
- The ability to communicate complex tax and industry concepts to clients through exceptional writing and speaking skills.
- Confidence in your ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
- The ability to collaborate with others as part of a high-performing team.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $141,900 to $260,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $170,300 to $295,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
