International Student Leader Specialist

About the role

The International Student Leader Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting international students at our university. This individual will work closely with the Office of International Students and Scholars to provide leadership training, mentorship, and cultural integration programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement leadership training programs for international students
• Mentor international students to enhance their academic and personal success
• Organize and facilitate cultural integration events and workshops
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure the needs of international students are met
• Assist in the recruitment and selection of international student leaders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
• Experience working with international students or in a multicultural environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and another major world language
• Passion for international education and student development
• Experience with event planning and coordination

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of diversity and inclusion principles

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually
